Course Overview

This course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge to provide an effective first aid response and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with nationally recognised standards. It is designed to prepare individuals to respond promptly and appropriately in emergency situations, delivering temporary care until qualified medical personnel arrive.

Course Description

Participants will learn how to:

  • Assess emergency situations and respond safely
  • Apply first aid techniques to a range of medical conditions and injuries
  • Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants
  • Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)

The content of this course is aligned with the latest Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, ensuring the methods taught are consistent with national best practices for emergency response and patient care.
